WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Gran Padrina 2016 begins with manual harvesting of the Merlot and Mantonegro grapes. Fermentation is conducted in temperature-controlled tanks at 27-28 degrees Celsius. After fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. It is then aged for twelve months in a combination of French, American, Hungarian, and Bulgarian oak barrels, with 10% being new oak.
