WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Grand Tokaj Classic Selection Sweet Szamorodni 2021 is produced using traditional Tokaj methods. Grapes are harvested as whole bunches, including those affected by noble rot, a process known as Szamorodni. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks to preserve aromatics and manage sweetness. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes an aging process of 1.5 years in used 500-liter Zemplén oak barrels. This careful vinification and maturation process aims to create a wine that balances sweetness, fruit, and acidity, reflecting the unique characteristics of the Tokaj terroir.
