Domaine Vincent Paris is a benchmark estate in Cornas, established in 1997 when Vincent inherited vines from his grandfather and purchased additional parcels from his legendary uncle, Robert Michel. The 'Granit 30' cuvée is named after both the granitic soils of the vineyards and the steep 30-degree slope of the hillsides where the vines grow. Located in the southern, lower-altitude parcels of the appellation, these vines average around 30 years of age. Vincent is known for his precise, energetic wines that express the rugged terroir of Cornas with more immediate accessibility than traditional, highly rustic styles.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes for Granit 30 are sustainably farmed and harvested by hand. In the cellar, Vincent Paris practices partial destemming, typically retaining around 30% of the stems to balance freshness and structure. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks using indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged for approximately 12 months in used oak barrels, ranging from 2 to 8 years old, to avoid imparting dominant oak flavors and preserve the pure, mineral-driven character of the Syrah. Minimal sulfur is added at bottling, and the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered.
