WINE MAKING PROCESS
The production of Ruffino Greppone Mazzi Brunello di Montalcino 2019 begins with hand-harvested grapes from the Greppone Mazzi estate, with yields limited to two and a half tons per acre. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, featuring maceration on the skins with frequent pump-overs and délestage. Malolactic fermentation is completed to enhance texture. The wine is then aged for approximately 36 months in large oak barrels and steel tanks, followed by six months in stainless steel before bottling. An additional eight months of bottle aging precedes its release.
