ABOUT THIS WINE
Chateau Ste. Michelle, established in 1967, is Washington State's founding winery and the largest producer of Riesling in the world. The Harvest Select Sweet Riesling was first introduced in 2009 to satisfy wine lovers seeking a richer, sweeter profile than the standard off-dry Columbia Valley bottling. It utilizes the International Riesling Foundation (IRF) scale on the back label to clearly communicate its sweetness level to consumers.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process focuses on preserving the delicate primary fruit characteristics of the Riesling grape. Fruit is sourced from select cool- and warm-climate vineyard sites across the Columbia Valley. Cool fermentation is conducted strictly at temperatures between 10°C and 13°C (50°F–55°F) using selected commercial yeasts in 100% temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged entirely in stainless steel without any oak contact to maintain its fresh, vibrant profile.
