ABOUT THIS WINE
Haut-Mouleyre Crémant de Bordeaux is a sparkling white wine from the Bordeaux region of France, produced under the Crémant de Bordeaux AOP. It is crafted by Château Haut-Mouleyre, located in Escoussans on the right bank of the Garonne River. This wine is distinctive for its use of traditional Bordeaux grape varieties, Sémillon and Merlot, in its blend. The Crémant de Bordeaux appellation itself highlights Bordeaux's established, though less widely recognized, tradition of sparkling wine production, with vineyards benefiting from the specific terroir of the Entre-Deux-Mers region.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Haut-Mouleyre Crémant de Bordeaux is produced using the traditional method, a process involving secondary fermentation in the bottle. Grapes are hand-harvested, with considerable vineyard work undertaken to ensure optimal maturity. Primary fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats. Following bottling, the wine undergoes secondary fermentation and is aged on lees for a minimum of 9 months. This aging period contributes to the wine's texture and complexity.
