The wine's name and designation 'Granito 700 Metros' emphasize its origin from high-altitude vineyards (700 meters) planted on granitic soils in Vidago, Chaves. This unique terroir is central to the wine's identity. The project at Quinta Serra d'Oura, established in 2007, focuses on showcasing the distinctive character of Trás-os-Montes using native grape varieties. The wine is a blend primarily featuring Alvarinho and Gouveio.
