Shafer Vineyards Hillside Select is crafted from estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon from the Stags Leap District. The 2018 vintage benefited from a long, cool growing season, with grapes harvested at Brix levels between 24.0° and 26.0°. Following harvest, the wine is aged for 32 months in 100% new French oak barrels. The winery employs sustainable farming practices in its vineyard management.
