WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Honoro Vera Tempranillo Rioja 2023 is produced from 100% Tempranillo grapes sourced from vineyards in Laguardia, Rioja Alavesa, with vine ages ranging from 15 to 60 years. The vineyards are situated on calcareous clay soils at altitudes between 1,300 and 2,600 feet. The vines are dry-farmed and hand-harvested, with no pesticides or herbicides used. Vinification involves fermentation in small stainless steel tanks at temperatures below 25°C. Some indications suggest that up to 10% of the wine may be aged in French oak barrels for less than a year, while other information states it is entirely unwooded and vinified in stainless steel.
