ABOUT THIS WINE
Iacob Roșu is a signature dry red blend crafted by the highly respected Romanian winemaker Aurelia Vișinescu at her estate, Domeniile Săhăteni. Located in the celebrated Dealu Mare region, this wine is frequently confused by consumers with wines from Domeniile Ceptura due to regional proximity and brand naming. However, it is a distinct creation of Săhăteni, designed to showcase the harmony between the international structure of Cabernet Sauvignon and the velvety, indigenous charm of Fetească Neagră.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes are hand-harvested from selected parcels in the Dealu Mare DOC. Each variety is vinified separately to optimize its unique varietal expression. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with prolonged skin contact to extract deep color and structured tannins. The wine is then aged in French oak barriques for approximately 8 to 12 months to soften the tannins and introduce complex secondary characteristics before final blending and bottling.
