Il Caberlot Ris Vigna Vincaie 2019 is a distinctive red wine from Podere Il Carnasciale in Tuscany's Valdarno di Sopra region. It is made solely from the rare Caberlot grape, a varietal that Podere Il Carnasciale is uniquely positioned as the world's only commercial cultivator of. The winery, established in 1986 by Bettina and Wolf Rogosky, is now a multi-generational family endeavor. Their winemaking philosophy centers on extreme attention to detail and respect for the land, employing certified organic farming practices with biodynamic influences. The 2019 vintage is aged in new French barriques and bottled exclusively in magnum format.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process at Podere Il Carnasciale is characterized by a philosophy of meticulous care and minimal intervention. Certified organic farming practices, supplemented by biodynamic principles, are employed in the vineyard. This includes the exclusive cultivation of the Caberlot grape, with yields kept low and grapes harvested by hand after strict selection. For the 2019 vintage, the wine undergoes an 18-month aging period in 80% new French barriques. The wine is then bottled exclusively in magnum format.
