WINE MAKING PROCESS
Il Principe Langhe Nebbiolo is produced using traditional red wine fermentation with maceration on the skins, followed by malolactic fermentation in steel tanks. The wine is aged for a minimum of 12 months, potentially including time in large Slavonian oak casks and bottle refinement. Grapes are hand-harvested, with summer thinning of excess bunches to enhance concentration. The 2022 vintage was warm and dry, leading to an early harvest with grapes of excellent quality.
