WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes for Imperial Gran Reserva 2018 are hand-harvested with a double selection process. Fermentation takes place in small wooden vats or concrete tanks using indigenous yeasts, followed by malolactic fermentation in concrete. The wine is then aged for 24 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels, with a significant portion being new. Following barrel aging, the wine rests in bottle for at least three years before release.
