WINE MAKING PROCESS
The K The Deal Syrah 2017 underwent 100% whole cluster fermentation using native yeast, with an extended maceration period of 47 days on skins. Following fermentation, the wine was aged for 20 months in French oak puncheons, with 37% of the barrels being new. The grapes were sourced from Sundance Vineyard, which has gravelly, sandy, and volcanic soils. The production yield was 2.5 tons per acre.
