WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Königsbecher Pinot Noir GG is produced using a meticulous winemaking process. Grapes are hand-harvested in multiple stages to ensure optimal ripeness. Fermentation takes place with ambient yeasts in small wooden casks, employing a mix of whole clusters and whole berries. Malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously in wood. The wine then undergoes aging for 8 to 12 months in a combination of large oak barrels and small barriques. Weingut Heitlinger adheres to organic and biodynamic farming practices, underscoring a commitment to sustainability and the authentic expression of the vineyard.
