ABOUT THIS WINE
The Matias Riccitelli Kung Fu Malbec is a single-varietal Malbec from the Gualtallary sub-region of Mendoza, Argentina. Situated at high altitudes between 1,350 and 1,400 meters, the vineyards are farmed organically. The winemaking philosophy emphasizes minimal intervention, with fermentation occurring in concrete vessels using indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged in concrete eggs and bottled unfiltered and without added sulfites, aiming to express the pure potential of the terroir. Matias Riccitelli, the producer, established his winery in 2009, blending his international winemaking experience with his family's deep roots in Argentinian viticulture.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Matias Riccitelli Kung Fu Malbec is produced using a minimal intervention approach. Grapes are sourced from high-altitude organic vineyards and hand-harvested. Fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts in concrete vessels, with 50% of the grapes fermented as whole bunches. Following fermentation, the wine ages for 8 months in concrete eggs. It is then bottled unfiltered and without the addition of sulfites, a practice that underscores the commitment to natural winemaking and terroir expression.
