ABOUT THIS WINE
Kung Fu Malbec is a 100% Malbec from the Gualtallary region of Mendoza's Uco Valley, Argentina. Produced by TINAL WINE CO SAS (Matias Riccitelli Wines), the wine is a product of organic viticulture practiced at altitudes between 1,350 and 1,400 meters. The vineyard is characterized by its calcareous and granite calcáreo soils. MatĂas Riccitelli's winemaking philosophy emphasizes minimal intervention, with this wine being part of his V.I.N.O. (Viticultura Independiente Natural y Orgánica) project, which focuses on sustainable and agroecological practices. The name 'Kung Fu' is intended to evoke a sense of raw, untamed energy and the wine's connection to its high-altitude origin.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Kung Fu Malbec is produced using 100% Malbec grapes that are hand-picked. The winemaking process involves a combination of whole cluster (50%) and destemmed (50%) grapes. Fermentation is spontaneous, utilizing indigenous yeasts and taking place in concrete eggs at temperatures between 24-26°C. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes an 8-month aging period, also in concrete eggs. The wine is made with no added sulfites, is unfiltered, and undergoes no stabilizing processes, reflecting a commitment to natural winemaking.
