WINE MAKING PROCESS
L'Abrunet Negre is produced using a co-fermentation of 60% Garnacha Fina and 40% Cariñena. The grapes are fermented whole in traditional underground cement vats ('trulls') using native yeasts and are foot-trodden. The wine undergoes aging in concrete tanks on its fine lees. Minimal filtration and minimal to no added SO2 are employed, with no clarification or stabilization, aiming for a pure expression of the grape and terroir.
