WINE MAKING PROCESS
Gustave Lorentz L'ami des Crustacés is produced using traditional vinification methods. The grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks, a technique that helps to preserve the wine's freshness and delicate aromatics. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 6-8 months in steel tanks. The grapes are sourced from vineyards located on hillsides near Bergheim. The estate has maintained organic certification for its vineyards since 2012 and was an early adopter of screwcap closures.
