WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for L'Avi Arrufí Blanco begins with hand-harvested Garnatxa Blanca grapes from old vines. The grapes undergo a 6-hour skin-contact maceration before fermentation in new French oak barrels at 20°C. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 7 months in French oak barrels, with a mix of new and used vessels. During this aging period, the lees are periodically stirred (batonnage) to enhance texture and complexity. The winery practices organic cultivation in its vineyards.
