ABOUT THIS WINE
La Farra Prosecco Rosé Spumante Millesimato DOC Brut is a sparkling rosé wine from the Veneto region of Italy. Produced by the family-run La Farra estate, founded in 1997 by the Nardi siblings, the wine is a blend of Glera and Pinot Noir grapes. The estate's vineyards are situated in the hilly areas surrounding Farra di Soligo, Pieve di Soligo, Follina, and San Pietro di Feletto, on clayey-calcareous soils. The producer's philosophy centers on respecting the territory and employing modern oenological techniques to craft elegant wines, with a belief that quality begins with superior grapes.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The production of La Farra Prosecco Rosé begins with the separate vinification of Glera and Pinot Noir grapes. Glera grapes are gently pressed and fermented slowly at 18°C for approximately 15 days. Pinot Noir grapes are crushed and macerated with skins for 10-12 days to extract color and aroma, then fermented at 16°C. The resulting wines are kept separate in stainless steel tanks for three months on fine lees before the cuvée is created. A secondary fermentation occurs in closed stainless steel tanks for 65 days, followed by an additional two months of maturing.
