WINE MAKING PROCESS
Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Rosé 2012 is produced using a blend dominated by Pinot Noir, sourced from select Grand Cru vineyards. A portion of the blend includes still red wine, made from Pinot Noir from the Clos Colin parcel, which imparts color and depth. Following primary fermentation, the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle to create its characteristic effervescence. It is then aged on its lees for an extended period, a process that contributes to its complexity and fine mousse. The dosage, the addition of a small amount of sugar and wine before final corking, is set at 8g/l, classifying it as Brut.
