ABOUT THIS WINE
La Granja 360° Tempranillo Garnacha is a red wine from Axial Vinos, produced in the D.O. Cariñena region of Aragon, Spain. It is a blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes, sourced from old, own-rooted vines grown at altitudes between 400 and 800 meters on barren limestone soils. The wine's name, 'La Granja,' translates to 'the farm,' and the '360°' designation originates from the winery's allocation of the 360th vineyard parcel in Almonacid de la Sierra in 1945. The label's zebra motif signifies a desire for innovation and a departure from tradition. Axial Vinos was established in 1999 by Louis and Eugenie Geirnaerdt-Van Ekeris, who focus on sustainable winemaking and expressing terroir, particularly with Garnacha.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for La Granja 360° Tempranillo Garnacha begins with selective hand-picking of the grapes. The fruit is then gently pressed before fermentation, which occurs in small wooden vessels under controlled temperatures. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes a 2-month aging period in oak barrels. Axial Vinos follows sustainable farming practices and aims to express the unique terroir of the D.O. Cariñena region.
