ABOUT THIS WINE
La Minée is a regional-tier Bourgogne Pinot Noir produced by Laurent Dufouleur, a family descendant of the historic Maison Louis Tramier & Fils. Founded in Mercurey in 1842, the house has a long-standing history in the region. Laurent Dufouleur took over management in 2014 and established his namesake domaine in 2016. The wine is named after 'La Minée', a historical parcel located in central Burgundy. Today, the estate's wines are matured in unique cellars dating back to 1830, which are notable for being the only cellars in the Mercurey region carved entirely into the natural solid rock face, ensuring a constant, ideal temperature for wine maturation.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes for this Pinot Noir are harvested mechanically at optimal phenolic maturity from sustainably farmed vineyards holding Level 3 High Environmental Value (HVE) certification. In the cellar, the fruit undergoes traditional temperature-controlled fermentation. Gentle extraction of color and fine tannins is achieved through regular punch-downs (pigeage). To preserve the delicate, fresh primary red fruit characteristics of the Pinot Noir grape, the wine is aged for several months exclusively in temperature-regulated stainless steel tanks, completely avoiding any oak contact.
