ABOUT THIS WINE
Founded in 2013 by Marion Pescheux and Manuel Landron, Complémen'Terre is located in the Nantais region of the Loire Valley. Manuel, the son of legendary Muscadet pioneer Jo Landron, established the estate with Marion to focus on low-intervention, biodynamic wines. They choose to bottle this cuvée as a Vin de France to bypass strict appellation rules, allowing them to focus entirely on expressing the unique orthogneiss and amphibolite soils of their vineyards.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes are hand-harvested from 15-year-old vines across a 3-hectare plot. The winemaking process begins with a direct pneumatic press lasting two and a half hours, followed by gravity cold settling. Spontaneous fermentation occurs using natural yeasts via a pied de cuve in glass-lined concrete vats. Both alcoholic and malolactic fermentations complete naturally. The wine is aged on its fine lees for five months in concrete vats, lightly filtered, and bottled with minimal sulfur.
