ABOUT THIS WINE
Domaine Mas des Combes, managed by EARL Rémi Larroque, is located in the heart of the Gaillac appellation in Southwest France. The Larroque family's winemaking heritage in the region dates back to 1540, with the estate at Mas d’Oustry established in 1814 by Jean Pierre Larroque. Today, Rémi Larroque operates the 34-hectare estate alongside his sons, Robin and Théo. The vineyards are situated on the highly regarded clay-limestone slopes of the 'First Hills' (Premières Côtes) north of Gaillac, benefiting from excellent south and south-east exposure.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The estate is certified HVE Level 3, reflecting a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. Vines are planted at a high density of 5,000 vines per hectare with natural grass cover between rows to control yields and encourage deep rooting. Vinification follows a low-intervention approach with no chaptalization, minimal commercial yeast, and low sulfur usage. The wine is aged in temperature-controlled tanks with partial wood contact to preserve fresh fruit character while adding structural complexity, and is bottled under natural cork.
