The St. Reginald Parish 'Laser Tag' Chenin Blanc 2019 is a single-varietal wine from the Ribbon Ridge AVA in Oregon's Willamette Valley. This vintage represents the final Chenin Blanc from the Omero Vineyard before its replanting. The winemaker, Andrew Reginald Young, transitioned from a music career to focus on low-intervention winemaking. The winery name combines his middle name and childhood neighborhood. The 2019 harvest was conducted early due to challenging fall weather, aiming to preserve the desired acidity and flinty characteristics of the grapes.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The 2019 Laser Tag Chenin Blanc was produced using a direct press method with whole clusters. A small amount of SO2 was added at press. Fermentation was initiated with ambient yeasts, with the wine divided between stainless steel (3/4) and a neutral barrel (1/4). Post-fermentation, the wine was aged, with 1/4 in new oak and 3/4 in neutral oak. The final nine months of élevage occurred in 100% new oak. The wine spent a total of two years in barrel before being racked to stainless steel and bottled.
