WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Lat 42 Reserva begins with hand-harvested grapes, collected during the cooler parts of the day. The must undergoes fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Following this, the wine completes malolactic fermentation. The aging process involves two years in oak barrels: the first year in new American oak, followed by a second year in used barrels (two to three years old). This extended aging period is a key characteristic of a Rioja Reserva.
