WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Lau Weiss 2022 is crafted using biodynamically grown grapes from the Pfalz region. A portion of the blend, specifically Muskateller and Sauvignon Blanc, undergoes skin contact for 14 days, while Riesling and Scheurebe are direct pressed. Fermentation is spontaneous, utilizing native yeasts. The wine then ages for 8 months on its lees in wooden barrels. It is bottled unfiltered with a minimal addition of sulfur, reflecting a natural and low-intervention winemaking approach.
