ABOUT THIS WINE
Lanson Le Rosé is a non-vintage rosé Champagne from the historic Maison Lanson, founded in 1760. It is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier, produced in the Champagne appellation of France. The wine is distinguished by its commitment to non-malolactic fermentation, a technique that helps retain its natural acidity and freshness. Lanson was an early pioneer in rosé production, with its dedicated rosé label introduced in 1952. The house is also recognized for its long-standing association with the British Royal Family, holding a Royal Warrant.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Lanson Le Rosé is produced using a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier grapes from the Champagne region. A key technique employed by Lanson is the predominant use of non-malolactic fermentation for its base wines, which helps to retain the wine's natural acidity and freshness. The grapes are gently pressed, and the resulting base wines are fermented. For color and added depth, a small percentage of red wine, typically around 7%, is blended in. The wine then undergoes a minimum of three years of aging in Lanson's cellars on its lees before release.
