Le Vin de Jardin

Domaine de la Grange aux Belles was founded by Marc Houtin, a former geologist who walked away from his corporate career in 2004 to pursue winemaking in the Loire Valley. Located in the Aubance sub-region of Anjou, the estate is now run alongside Gérald 'Jesse' Peau and Caroline Corre. In 2014, the estate famously chose to exit the AOC system entirely after being reprimanded by the local control board for their natural viticulture and low-intervention methods. Today, they bottle all their wines as Vin de France, allowing them total creative freedom to craft unique, terroir-driven wines from certified organic and biodynamically farmed vineyards.
