ABOUT THIS WINE
Les Forts de Latour is the second wine of the renowned Château Latour estate, situated in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux. Crafted with the same high standards as the Grand Vin, it is produced from the estate's younger vines, typically at least 12 years old, grown on plots within the Grand Enclos. The 2015 vintage was influenced by a dry and warm growing season, followed by a wetter August, leading to ripe fruit and balanced structure. This wine is considered a significant offering from an exceptional year, embodying the Pauillac terroir.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Les Forts de Latour is produced from younger vines within Château Latour's Grand Enclos. The 2015 vintage required careful harvest timing, with Merlot picked from mid-September and Cabernet Sauvignon in early October. Following harvest, the grapes undergo fermentation, with the resulting wine then aged in 50% new French oak barrels. This process is guided by the estate's long-standing commitment to quality and the expression of Pauillac's terroir.
