WINE MAKING PROCESS
The 2024 Les Fuseaux is made from 100% Gamaret grapes using an 'infusion style' where juice from a direct press is blended 50/50 with juice that has undergone a seven-day maceration. Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts. The grapes are destemmed using a traditional sieve and pressed with an old vertical ratchet press. The wine is aged for 9 months in tanks to maintain freshness and is bottled unfined and unfiltered. Matthias Orsett's winemaking is characterized by minimal intervention, focusing on the purity of the fruit and terroir.
