WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes for Les Sorts Selecció are harvested by hand from selected old vines. Each grape variety—Garnacha, Carinyena, and Syrah—is vinified separately to respect its individual characteristics. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by a maceration period to extract color and structured tannins. The wine is then aged for approximately 14 months in French oak barrels of varying ages. This careful oak regime helps to soften the robust tannins of the Carinyena and integrate the lush fruit of the Garnacha before final blending and bottling.
