WINE MAKING PROCESS
The production of Chapoutier Les Tanneurs Saint-Péray involves hand-harvesting whole grape clusters, which are then pressed. Fermentation occurs in both stainless steel tanks and partially in barrels. Following fermentation, the wine is aged on its fine lees, with regular stirring (bâtonnage) employed to enhance texture and complexity. M. Chapoutier adheres to biodynamic and organic farming practices in its vineyards.
