ABOUT THIS WINE
Domaine Les Granges Paquenesses, founded by Loreline Laborde in the Côtes du Jura, is a beacon of natural winemaking. Laborde works her small estate of 3.5 to 5 hectares entirely by hand and with the assistance of her Comtois mare, Amazone, to plow the soils. This traditional approach avoids soil compaction and preserves the active soil microbiome. Located in the picturesque Jura region of eastern France, the estate is certified organic and managed under biodynamic principles, producing highly sought-after, low-intervention wines that beautifully reflect their unique terroir.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking philosophy at Les Granges Paquenesses is defined by minimal intervention. Grapes are harvested by hand and undergo spontaneous fermentation using only indigenous yeasts. The red wines are crafted with minimal or no added sulfur dioxide to preserve the purity of the fruit. To maintain their natural texture, complexity, and vibrant character, the wines are bottled without fining or filtration.
