ABOUT THIS WINE
The Leva Chardonnay Dimiat & Muscat 2023 is a white wine from Vinex Slavyantsi, a winery with a legacy dating back to the 19th century and located in Bulgaria's Thracian Valley, specifically the Rose Valley. This wine is distinguished by its blend of 70% Chardonnay, 15% Dimiat, and 15% Muscat grapes. A unique aspect of its production involves a split fermentation process, where two-thirds of the Chardonnay and the Dimiat undergo fermentation in oak barrels, while the remaining Chardonnay and the Muscat ferment in stainless steel tanks. The winery itself manages over 600 hectares of vineyards and is known for its focus on quality and organic wine production.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Leva Chardonnay Dimiat & Muscat 2023 undergoes a meticulous winemaking process. Fermentation is conducted under controlled temperatures. A portion of the Chardonnay (two-thirds) and the Dimiat grapes are fermented in American and French oak barrels, while the remaining Chardonnay and the Muscat grapes are fermented separately in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine is blended and then matured in stainless steel tanks. The wine is finished with a screw cap closure.
