ABOUT THIS WINE
Maison Lissner's Lissner G is a dry white wine from the Alsace region of France, produced with a strong commitment to natural winemaking and biodiversity. The Schloegel family, who run the estate, practice 'Vildodling,' a philosophy of wild cultivation that encourages a thriving ecosystem in their vineyards. This approach, combined with minimal intervention in the cellar, aims to express the authentic character of the grapes and the Alsatian terroir. The 2021 vintage specifically features Riesling and Pinot grapes, contributing to the wine's distinctive profile.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Maison Lissner's Lissner G is produced using natural winemaking techniques. Grapes are hand-harvested when ripe. Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts, utilizing a 'pied de cuve' and incorporating 30% whole bunches. The wine ferments with skins and grape residues for 14 days in vats, with a maximum temperature of 29°C. No chaptalisation is performed. Following fermentation, the wine is aged in stainless steel vats. The total sulfite level is kept very low at 30 mg/l.
