WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Longview Vista Shiraz Barbera 2022 is produced using a blend of 73% Shiraz and 27% Barbera. For the 2022 vintage, the grapes were co-fermented, a technique facilitated by their simultaneous ripening. Fermentation occurs in open tanks over eleven days. Following fermentation, the wine is matured for eight months in old French hogsheads and puncheons. This process aims to integrate the characteristics of both grape varietals and the subtle influence of oak.
