ABOUT THIS WINE
Guild Winemakers is an innovative, collaborative urban winery project founded in 2010 in Portland, Oregon. Rather than operating under a traditional single-estate model, three of the Pacific Northwest's most celebrated boutique winemakers—John Grochau, Anne Hubatch, and Vincent Fritzsche—joined forces to create everyday drinking luxury. The trio leverages their collective industry relationships to acquire high-quality excess fruit and finished wine lots from prestigious cellars across Washington and Oregon. By blending these distinct blocks, they produce artisanal, high-pedigree wines at a fraction of standard boutique pricing.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes for this red blend are sourced from multiple high-quality, sustainably managed vineyards across the warm, sun-drenched Columbia Valley AVA. Fermentation occurs primarily in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to emphasize pristine fruit character, utilizing gentle punch-downs and pump-overs for extraction. The wine is then matured for approximately 18 months in a combination of seasoned French and American oak barrels to integrate the structural tannins of the Syrah and Mourvèdre. The final blend is typically unfined and unfiltered to preserve natural textures and micro-terroir nuances.
