WINE MAKING PROCESS
The production of Lotima Vermouth Rosso 2021 begins with a base wine fermented from Lottenlund Estate's own grapes using neutral yeast. This wine is then fortified with grape spirit. Botanicals are carefully macerated to impart their flavors and aromas. Following this, the vermouth undergoes a 6-month aging process in new 50-liter oak barrels. The grapes were hand-harvested in October 2021. The estate's approach prioritizes vineyard quality and minimal cellar intervention.
