ABOUT THIS WINE
Lugana Brut Cantina Franzosi is a sparkling white wine produced by Cantina Franzosi di Franzosi Bruno & figli SAS, a family-run estate with origins in the 1930s. The wine is made from 100% Trebbiano di Lugana (Turbiana) grapes grown in the Lugana DOC appellation, located on the southern shores of Lake Garda. This region's distinctive clayey, silty moraine soil contributes to the wine's character. The wine is produced using the Metodo Classico, a traditional secondary fermentation in the bottle, highlighting the estate's dedication to quality and authentic territorial expression.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Lugana Brut Cantina Franzosi is produced using the Classic Method (Metodo Classico), involving a secondary fermentation in the bottle. The grapes, 100% Trebbiano di Lugana, are hand-harvested in September to preserve acidity. A soft pressing is employed to extract the grape's delicate aromas. Following initial fermentation, the wine undergoes a minimum of 18 months of aging in the bottle, maturing on its yeasts for at least 20 months on racks to develop its characteristic complexity and effervescence.
