Spottswoode Estate Vineyard & Winery, established in 1982 by the Novak family, is a historic winery in St. Helena, Napa Valley, with an estate history dating back to 1882. Spottswoode is a pioneer in organic viticulture, farming without synthetic chemicals since 1985 and receiving organic certification in 1992. They are also Napa Green Winery and Vineyard certified, 100% solar-run, and a Certified B-Corp. The winery is now stewarded by the second generation sisters, Beth Novak Milliken and Lindy Novak. The Lyndenhurst bottling is considered the second wine of the estate, but is a significant wine in its own right. The name 'Lyndenhurst' is a tribute to the linden trees on the estate grounds.
