WINE MAKING PROCESS
The production of this Madeira Verdelho involves fermenting the Verdelho grape must in stainless steel vats with natural yeasts at 20°C. Fermentation is halted with the addition of brandy. The wine then undergoes an extended aging period of at least 20 years in French oak casks using the Canteiro process, a traditional method of maturation in attics that contributes to the wine's development and complexity.
