WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Mandolás Tokaj Oremus 2021 is produced from 100% Furmint grapes, hand-selected from the Mandolás vineyard. Following harvest, the grapes undergo fermentation for 8 to 12 days, with 20-50% of the wine fermenting in new Hungarian oak barrels and 50-80% in stainless steel vats. A significant portion, about 70%, is then aged for three to six months in small, traditional 136-liter Hungarian oak barrels. The wine is classified under the Tokaji PDO (Protected Designation of Origin).
