ABOUT THIS WINE
Marani Tvishi 2016 is a semi-sweet white wine produced by Telavi Wine Cellar (Marani) from 100% Tsolikouri grapes. It originates from the Tvishi PDO in the Racha-Lechkhumi region of Georgia. Telavi Wine Cellar, established in 1915, blends traditional Georgian winemaking with modern techniques. The unique terroir of the Tvishi microzone, characterized by its humid climate and humus-carbonate soils, contributes to the wine's distinct semi-sweet profile. This vintage received a Bronze award at the International Wine & Spirit Competition.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Marani Tvishi 2016 is produced using Tsolikouri grapes harvested by hand in late October or early November. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. To achieve its semi-sweet character, the fermentation process is stopped by cooling, which preserves the natural grape sugars. The wine is then typically aged in stainless steel to maintain its freshness.
