ABOUT THIS WINE
Juggernaut Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc represents a milestone for Juggernaut Wines, a premium brand within the Bogle Family Wine Collection. This release marks the brand's first-ever internationally grown and imported wine. To craft this Sauvignon Blanc, winemaker Eric Aafedt established an exclusive partnership with the MacDonald family, proprietors of te Pā Wines, who possess deep indigenous Māori ancestry and multi-generational roots in Marlborough. The striking label features an Orca, illustrated by artist Ivan Belikov, symbolizing the fierce intelligence and adaptability of the ocean's ultimate predator, mirroring the maritime-influenced coastal vineyards of New Zealand. In alignment with this ocean theme, Juggernaut has partnered with the global ocean-cleanup organization 4ocean to fund the removal of plastic from marine environments.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes are sourced from prestigious estate blocks in Marlborough's Lower Wairau Valley and Awatere Valley. The vines struggle against intense Southern Hemisphere sun and cooling coastal winds, which naturally limits yields and concentrates flavors. In the cellar, the winemaking process is designed to preserve the raw purity of the fruit. Fermentation takes place entirely in temperature-controlled, cool stainless steel tanks using specific aromatic yeast strains selected to optimize the liberation of thiols. The wine is 100% unoaked and does not undergo malolactic fermentation, resting in stainless steel until bottling to maintain its vibrant, crisp character.
