ABOUT THIS WINE
Martinet Bru is crafted by Mas Martinet, an estate founded in the 1980s by Josep Lluís Pérez, one of the pioneering figures who revitalized the Priorat region. Today, the estate is managed by his daughter, Sara Pérez, who has transitioned the vineyards to organic farming and introduced a deep ecological philosophy. Sourced primarily from the 'Mas Torrent' vineyard in the Masos de Falset area, this wine is designed as an approachable gateway to the complex, slate-driven terroir of Priorat, blending the region's traditional structure with a vibrant, modern fruit profile.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented using indigenous yeasts in concrete or wooden vats. Winemaker Sara Pérez employs short, gentle maceration to manage tannin extraction. The wine is aged for 17 to 18 months in a combination of 4,000-liter French oak foudres and older 300-liter French oak barrels to minimize heavy wood influence. To preserve its natural character, the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered.
