WINE MAKING PROCESS
Masi Masianco Pinot Grigio delle Venezie DOC is produced using a blend of 85% Pinot Grigio and 15% Verduzzo grapes. The Pinot Grigio undergoes white fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures between 14°C and 15°C to preserve its fresh character. The Verduzzo grapes are subjected to a brief drying period using the Appassimento technique, a signature method of Masi. After fermentation, the wine is aged briefly in stainless steel before bottling. The grapes are sourced from the 'Stra' del Milione' vineyards in Friuli, which are characterized by calcareous sediments on basalt and clayey soils.
