ABOUT THIS WINE
Crafted by Mezzacorona, a pioneering estate in the foothills of the Italian Alps, this Pinot Nero showcases the unique mountain terroir of the Trentino DOC. The region's dramatic diurnal temperature shifts, driven by cool alpine breezes and warm valley currents, allow the delicate Pinot Nero grape to ripen slowly while retaining its signature freshness and vibrant acidity. Mezzacorona, founded as a cooperative in 1904, focuses on sustainable viticulture, capturing the pristine mountain character of northern Italy in every bottle.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness from select hillside vineyards in the Trentino region. Following a gentle destemming, the must undergoes traditional red wine fermentation on the skins in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the bright primary fruit characters. A short period of aging in oak barrels adds subtle complexity and rounds out the tannins before bottling.
